1. Delete in the app

Account deletion is done in the Vyrelio app. The website does not have a delete button.

1. Open the Vyrelio app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Scroll to the Danger Zone and tap Delete account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm.

It worked when the app signs you out and you can no longer sign in with that account. Deletion cannot be undone.

2. Delete by email

If you cannot use the app, you can ask us to do it.

1. Open your email app and use the email address you signed up with.
2. Write to privacy@vyrelio.com and say you want your account deleted.
3. We may reply to check that it is you. Answer that message.
4. We delete the account and tell you when it is done.

It worked when you get our reply saying the account is deleted, and you can no longer sign in.

3. What is removed

Your account and everything linked to it is deleted together: your profile, posts, messages, connections, needs, bookmarks, notifications, verification records, two-factor settings and push tokens.

4. What may be kept

Where the law requires it, or to deal with a dispute or a safety matter, we may keep a limited record. Messages you sent may remain in other people's history only if the law requires it; otherwise they go with your account. Files you uploaded are removed from storage as part of deletion.

5. Backups

Copies in our backups are overwritten as backups rotate.
