Trust and safety

What a badge means, and what it does not.

We check evidence. We do not vouch for anyone's ideas, products or returns.

The tiers and their evidence

Tier 1: Verified

Shows that a real person stands behind the profile. The badge is blue.

  • You send a link to your professional profile, such as LinkedIn.
  • A company also proves it owns its website with a code sent to an email on that website.
  • An AI model and then our team review what you sent.

Tier 1 is required to send connection requests.

Tier 2: Registered

Shows that a venture or an individual is on an official record. The badge is saffron.

  • You send proof from an official registry, such as a company number or a registry page.
  • We check that the proof matches the name on your profile.
  • Our team confirms it before the badge appears.

Tier 2 builds on Tier 1.

What a badge does and does not mean

It means

  • We looked at the evidence the member sent.
  • The evidence matched the profile when we checked.

It does not mean

  • We endorse the member or their company.
  • We give investment, legal or hiring advice.
  • We guarantee anything about the future.

Reporting and moderation

Any member can report a profile, post or message. Posts are checked with AI assistance, and people review reports.

Rule breaks lead to a warning, then a 24-hour posting pause, then a 7-day pause, then suspension. Serious breaks can go straight to suspension. Read the community guidelines.
